The Congressional oversight panel has published a collection of around 70 photographs from the estate of former found guilty sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third such publication from a tranche of over 95,000 photographs the committee has acquired from Epstein's holdings. It contains photographs of quotes from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a woman's body, and obscured photos of female foreign passports.

This release comes mere hours before the December 19th due date for the DOJ to release each documents connected to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These images bring up additional queries about precisely what the Department of Justice has in its custody," stated the senior Democrat of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Showing up in the images is does not constitute evidence of any illegal activity, and a number of the photographed individuals have stated they were not involved in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a press release released with the photograph release, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not offer background information or timeframes for the images.

"Images were selected to provide the public with clarity into a illustrative selection of the photos received from the property, and to provide understanding into Epstein's circle and his extremely alarming actions," the statement says.

The publication also includes several photos of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita inscribed in ink across various areas of a female's body, including her chest, lower extremity, hip, and spine. Lolita narrates the account of a adolescent who was groomed by a middle-aged literature professor.

A particular excerpt from the book scrawled across a woman's chest reads, "Lolita: the point of the tongue traveling of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a number of images of female identification and ID papers from states around the world, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A further photograph disclosed is a screenshot of SMS messages from an unknown individual who says they have been sent "a number of girls" and are asking for "$1000 per girl".

Photo Disclosure Arrives Before DOJ Deadline

The panel has many thousands of images in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "both explicit and everyday," its press release on Thursday noted.

The House Oversight Committee first issued a subpoena to the holdings of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photos and documents the Epstein property gave to the panel are separate from what is largely referred to "the Epstein documents". Those are documents under the DOJ's possession related to its separate probe into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which Donald Trump made law recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its documents. The scope of what is found in the DOJ's records is not publicly known, and it's expected that a significant portion of the material will be significantly redacted, akin to Congressional releases
